Who is BOOKDU for?

BOOKDU is built for models and talent who work through agencies. It also works for influencers, creatives, and freelancers who deal with delayed payments, multiple clients, and agency contracts.

How do I track a job?

When your agency tells you about a booking, log it in BOOKDU with the agency, client, rate, and date. Confirmed or not, it goes in. BOOKDU will remind you before the work date if the job is still unconfirmed, and track the payment until you mark it paid.

How do payment reminders work?

Once you log a job, BOOKDU tracks the payment. If it goes unpaid for too long, you'll get reminders at 35 days and 56 days. The job stays in BOOKDU until you tag it as paid. Weekly summaries on Mondays show you what's outstanding.

How do contracts work?

Upload your agency contracts as PDFs. Set the end date and BOOKDU will remind you 90 days before expiry, on your notice deadline, and the day before it ends. No more auto-renewing into terms you didn't check.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything stays on your phone by default. BOOKDU locks so nobody can see your financial data without opening the app. If you want, you can enable backup so your data is recoverable if you lose or break your phone.

What if I lose my phone?

If you've enabled backup, you can restore all your data on a new device. If backup is off, your data lives only on your phone and would be lost. We recommend enabling backup in Settings.

Which countries are supported for tax?

BOOKDU estimates tax for the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, France, and Italy. The app uses current tax brackets for each country. These are estimates only — export your data as a CSV and hand it to your accountant at tax time.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export jobs or expenses as a CSV file with custom date ranges. Go to Settings and tap Export. Hand the file to your accountant or keep it for your records.

Do I need to create an account?

No. BOOKDU works straight away with no sign-up, no login, and no personal information required.

How do I delete my data?

Since all data is stored locally, you can delete individual jobs, expenses, or contracts by swiping left on the item. Uninstalling the app removes all data from your device.
